I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. What made my visit even more special was the service.
Deshi Village is one of those neighborhood places you just keep coming back to. The food is always fresh and full of flavor — I especially love their butter chicken, naan, and mixed grill. You can really taste the difference compared to other spots around here. The staff are super friendly and treat you like family. Portions are big, prices are fair, and everything feels homemade. It’s also nice having the grocery section with fresh halal meat and spices — really convenient for the community. If you’re in the Lansdale area and craving good, authentic food, definitely give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed!
Today was my 3rd time out of uncountable times coming ahead. Their cooks are awesome, foods are very delicious, plus all comes in good quality and quantity. I tried many options and all were very good. Surprisingly they took very short time unless you order kabab which normally takes longer. Everytime we eat a lot and still had to takeout the rest. Service behavior, peace in mind for eating halal. I would blindly recommend this amazing restaurant which has 12/15 seating place, enough parking space and delicious food in very good price! A perfect place for fresh halal Bangladeshi food with groceries. Thank you Russel bhai and others.
My Bangladesh friends recommended this because it’s as close to authentic as it can be. It was absolutely delicious!!! I ordered the Goat Combo Platter $19.99. This is a rice, Vegetable, Vorta, Daal, Naan and goat gravy platter. The order took only 10mins as I waited inside. Location is easy to get to. It’s on Broad street where the old Friendly’s used to be. Staff was so friendly.
Dropped by for brunch and wasn’t disappointed. Had a pretty wholesome experience that reminded one of home! 10/10 would recommend. Hat tip to the sizzling kebab, it was so good!
In the unorthodox location, nestled within the front of a grocery store, lies Deshi Village in Landsdale, PA. Despite its unconventional positioning, this humble eatery manages to deliver an authentic escape into the flavors of Bangladesh. With aromatic naan bread, fiery chicken Vindaloo, and rich butter chicken, Deshi Village showcases a genuine commitment to traditional cuisine. The moment I stepped through the doors, I was met with the mingling scents of spices and sizzling meats. The ambiance, while modest, exuded a certain charm that added to the overall experience. It was a place where patrons gathered to feast on the culinary delights, undeterred by its unconventional location. The naan, freshly baked with a perfect golden hue, captivated both the eye and the palate. Its warm, fluffy texture acted as a vessel for the fragrant curries and provided a comforting companion to every bite. As I tore into the naan, the enticing aroma enveloped my senses, transporting me to the bustling markets of Dhaka. The chicken Vindaloo, a fiery Indian classic, did not disappoint. The bold blend of spices and tender meat created a symphony of flavors that danced on my tongue. The heat was unrelenting but not overpowering, offering a perfect balance that left me craving each successive bite. The butter chicken, a milder sibling to the Vindaloo, showcased Deshi Village's ability to execute diverse flavors. The succulent, juicy chicken pieces were enveloped in a velvety, buttery sauce that was rich and indulgent. As I savored each mouthful, the creaminess and delicate spices came together in a harmonious union. However, one aspect of the dining experience left a small blemish. The mango lassi, while promising, may have exceeded its fresh date. The once-vibrant sweetness seemed to have faded, leaving a slightly off-putting taste on the palate. In spite of this minor setback, Deshi Village remains a testament to the power of authentic flavors. It is an establishment that defies convention, inviting patrons to immerse themselves in the culinary wonders of Bangladesh. The dishes, crafted with care and dedication, reflect the cultural richness of the region. From the aromatic naan bread to the fiery Vindaloo, each plate offered a glimpse into the vibrant tapestry of Bangladeshi cuisine. In conclusion, Deshi Village may reside in an unorthodox location, but it proves that authenticity can thrive anywhere. Its flavorful naan, tantalizing chicken Vindaloo, and delightful butter chicken create a culinary journey that is worth embarking upon. While the mango lassi may have fallen short, the overall experience is one that invites diners to savor the flavors and embrace the adventure of Deshi Village.
